Indian Head Massage: (IHM)
IHM: Is a massage therapy that works specifically on high tension areas surrounding the head, scalp, face (optional) and neck extending to the shoulders and upper back.
IHM, helps to counterbalance stress in the head by improving the circulation and relaxing the muscles and nerve fibres, thereby relieving tension. Working on the neck with IHM helps to open up the energy flow from the spine to the whole head and can help reduce tension (headaches) and improve posture by re-aligning the muscles, thereby increasing mobility and allowing the head to move more freely.
IHM massage is applied seated through clothes.
